En el año 2024 se conmemoraron veinte años del fallecimiento de Felipe Mac Gregor SJ, reconocido académico y docente universitario. La Revista Sílex no quiso dejar pasar esta oportunidad para volver sobre sus aportes y legado; por ello, dedicó el presente volumen a un número monográfico especial sobre los ámbitos en los que Mac Gregor SJ dejó huella, como la universidad y la reflexión sobre la cultura de paz, labor que incluso le valió un reconocimiento por parte de la UNESCO.
