Abstract
This edition reflects on the close relationship between communication and human rights, understanding communication not only as the transmission of information, but as a fundamental tool for exercising freedom, civic participation, and the recognition of diversity. In a context marked by recent social mobilizations in Peru, the collected articles and essays analyze the role of the media, freedom of expression, and the various forms of representation and resistance in the face of conflict and exclusion.
