Abstract

The social justice has it politic basis in Nancy Fraser’s thought in the economic character of society, but it does not implies it exclusively, because it exists two more dimensions that complements it: the cultural recognition and the political representation. In this context of state of emergency, emerges the necessity of understanding holistically the sense of the social justice and applies it to Peruvian reality so that we could make evident the failures that exist into every dimension and the measures that the Peruvian government has taken into every dimension to counteract or, in default, solve the pandemic impact.

The present article shows not just the improvisation of the measures that do not satisfy the basic necessities that each dimensions requires, it also critics that our authorities’ political comprehension had not pointed, neither point now to reach this state of social justice that has as a horizon a truly sustainable recognition in structural changes and for that, inescapably, it has to involve the economic crises that is expressed in the inequality conditions and the missing of opportunities. The social justice has represented an ideal of society, to the point that conceives as an unreachable horizon. Associate the justice with equality and equity it is not part of the politic perspective of the country and this prove the buffer character of the legislative decrees that the state established; but, for one hand, it does not reach all the sector of the population and, if this helps arrives, it is taken by a proper citizen through his CTS (Compensación por Tiempo de Servicio as in Spanish) or AFP (Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones as in Spanish) retirement. The reality is different when is about the businesses who can fire without the legal rights for their employees under the modality of “perfect suspension”, perfect for the company which does not only enjoy this benefit but also it could proceed to a financing from the government, and in this society it is crucial a business figure, because these are the ones who give jobs, the jobs that has to be taken with priority unlike the employees’ integrity. After all the companies cannot be replaced easily while the workforce can. It is manifested a remarkable intention for not impart with equality bigger benefits for the ones who really are in a disadvantageous situation. The corruption acts just reinforce the necessity that the social justice is now not only a Utopia but also a moral obligation, a patriotic demand which must not lose the vision or the praxis. And, even if we point recognition of our conditions of existence into our particularities and also since this recognition, we could have a representation in instances where we could participate, it will not exist a real recognition without a real redistribution.
