The identity of each individual is composed of various categories to which they belong; however, there are people in the world whose corporeality is immersed in more than one non-normative category. The reality of those individuals who are neither recognized nor accepted by society results in various forms of oppression. In response to this situation, they are forced to implement resistance strategies to expand their opportunities in the world. The main objective of this study is to recognize the importance of addressing more than one type of oppression that occurs simultaneously in the same person, that is, to conduct an intersectional analysis. Furthermore, it seeks to establish a dialogue between the proposals of Butler, McRuer and Segato, with the aim of understanding how concepts such as performativity or the denaturalization of disability and violence can contribute to developing more effective resistance strategies.
